Across the spectrum of visual design, from newspapers to web sites, television and more, artists fill the spaces with graphics and designs that move people, that sell products, that impact people on an emotional level.
In the Digital Design Online Diploma program at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh - Online Division, students are taught the fundamentals of design, including lettering and typography, and graphic design. Students create color composites and renderings, and get the introduction to using computer applications and sophisticated software as design tools to create high-quality layouts and designs.
This program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation for career growth and qualify them for entry-level positions, including production or computer artist at newspapers, advertising agencies or television stations.
